Thursday, April 13, 2006 ::: THURSDAY NIGHT After more than a week of procrastination, I'm finally coming up with a 'to do' list that looks not too pathetic and things are actually doable. What's more, I'm actually starting to make those things happen - firstly by taking a 2 hour golf lesson given by dad. If you think playing golf is easy, then I recommend you try it. It's not my first time but it does take a little effort trying not to look too silly especially when you miss the ball during your swing. Today at the driving range I went to (the one that sits on the landing strip that used to be part of Kai Tak International Airport), I saw this girl being videoed by her friends who kept teasing her. And to be honest she looks like she's trying to throw her club instead of hitting the ball. Now that really says something about golf, doesn't it? Why is it difficult? Part of the reason is it requires the use of your biceps, triceps, brachioradialis, paraspinal muscles, thigh adductors, and a lot more which I haven't noticed yet. I'll probably know by tomorrow when my muscles start aching. And apparently I don't have very strong thigh adductors or paraspinal muscles. See what I mean now don't ya. If I persevere enough maybe I'll get a bulging brachioradialis muscle, and I can show it off one day. How cool is that? ::: posted by Wings at 4/13/2006 08:38:00 AM
